2. Ken Gurley is a native Houstonian who likes to talk about Jesus. He graduated with honors from the University of Houston in the five-year accounting program. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas who worked as an accounting manager in a Fortune 500 company prior to entering fulltime in the ministry.
3. He and his wife, Tessie, have three children, two who are married. They make their residence in Clear Lake. Since 1988, he has served as senior pastor for the First Church of Pearland. He serves or has served as Texas Youth President, Administrative Assistant to the Texas District Superintendent, Vice President of Texas Bible College, President of Pentecostal Minister Training Network, South Texas District Secretary-Treasurer, and presently serves as the District Superintendent of the South Texas District United Pentecostal Church International that includes 450 ministers and 280 churches.
4. Ken Gurley is a writer for the religious section of the Houston Chronicle. He is author of several books including Notable Women of Scripture, Manifold Grace, and the Worth the Wait program. He is author of the seven-book series, Preaching For A New Millennium, and has written numerous articles and chapters for journals, magazines and books. He has written several dramas performed before tens of thousands of people.
5. He speaks several hundred times each year and serves on several boards or advisory committees of religious and charitable organizations.


Arless and Joan Glass

1. Served as Superintendent of Division of Education from 1976 – 2006.
2. He served as a Military Endorsing Agent for the UPCI Division of Education since 1976.
3. Bishop Arless Glass pastored The Church Triumphant shortly after the church came into existence in 1962. 
4. At 82 years young, Bishop Glass is still an incredible and anointed preacher/teacher of the gospel. He is a great man of God with passion for people and a phenomenal understanding of the scriptures.
5. He, with his wife Joan is very instrumental in the progress of their local church. 
6. He serves as honorary board member of the Division of Education.
